CACI Wins $31M DAI BTA
Deal March 15,
2010
CACI
has been awarded a task order valued at approximately $31 million to
help the Department of Defense Business Transformation Agency (BTA)
implement the Oracle E-Business Suite in support of BTA's Defense Agency
Initiative (DAI) program for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD)
and other defense agencies. The contract, which is new business for CACI,
was competitively awarded under the Defense Information System Agency's
ENCORE II contract vehicle. It is also one of three DAI-related awards
CACI has won with the BTA in the past 12 months, which collectively
total approximately $53 million.
The DAI program provides a standard financial management solution that
interconnects business processes for all DoD agencies. CACI's role
focuses on services that help DoD agencies migrate from their current
legacy environments to the new DAI infrastructure. This includes
providing business process integration, implementation planning,
workforce preparation, data conversion, and help desk services. Through
its core competency in business system solutions, CACI delivers proven
expertise to help agencies migrate efficiently, cost-effectively, and on
time. At the same time, CACI's business system solutions help DoD
enhance its global enterprise resource planning (ERP) capabilities.
Bill Fairl, CACI President of U.S. Operations, said "CACI is proud to
support the Business Transformation Agency in providing innovative
enterprise-level solutions to the Department of Defense. CACI solutions
will help BTA provide defense agencies with accurate and reliable
financial tools and resources to best support the missions of the
warfighter."
Paul Cofoni, CACI President and Chief Executive Officer, said, "CACI's
strategy is to provide solutions for the government's most critical and
highly funded requirements. We are dedicated to delivering successful
solutions that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the agencies
we support. Our work with BTA is an ongoing partnership to help bring
positive transformation at the enterprise level for all our defense
clients." |
