Elizabeth
Andora has been appointed vice president of Human Resources for Webroot.
Andora brings to Webroot two decades of leadership experience overseeing
human resources for companies during critical periods of their strategic
expansion.
“Webroot will grow aggressively this year through acquisitions and
investments in research, development and support, and we’re very pleased
to have Liz on board to lead the integration of valuable talent into our
team,” said Dick Williams, chief executive officer, Webroot.
With
over 20 years of direct experience, Andora possesses a strong background
in leading human resources for large technology companies. Most recently
Andora was director of Human Resources for Mergers and Acquisitions for
Sun Microsystems, where she created and executed a global HR M&A
strategy to support the company’s strategic objectives. During her
nine-year tenure at Sun, Andora oversaw the integration of 700 new
employees attained through seven corporate acquisitions, and led efforts
to improve processes for 400 human resources team members and 32,000 Sun
employees across 40 countries.
Prior to Sun, Andora spent nearly seven years at Hewlett Packard (HP).
She most recently led human resources for the company’s 700-employee
Technical Computing Division. Andora was also a member of the senior
leadership team responsible for the strategic direction of HP’s start-up
Portable Capture and Communications business, helping the unit attain
high marks from employees for its leadership, people and culture.
Previously Andora held human resources roles at RJR Nabisco and
Alexander and Alexander Consulting Group.
Andora received a bachelor of Political Science and a Masters of
Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Colorado in
Boulder. |
