CSC Wins $29M (OCONUS)
Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-NET) Deal

The
Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk has awarded CSC a task order
to provide operations, maintenance and management support to the Outside
the Continental United States (OCONUS) Navy Enterprise Network (ONE-NET)
in the Far East. The task order, awarded under the General Services
Administration's (GSA) Schedule 70 contract, has a one-year base period
and an estimated total contract value of $29 million.
This contract was awarded to CSC during the company's fiscal 2009 fourth
quarter. This contract follows another ONE-NET task order awarded to CSC
in 2005 under the GSA's Applications 'n Support for Widely-diverse End
User Requirements (ANSWER) contract.
Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will continue to provide
information technology services for the Naval Network Warfare Command to
support enterprise network operations, infrastructure and information
assurance
services,
and legacy-to-enterprise transition support to classified and
unclassified networks at various locations in the Far East, including
Japan, Korea, Singapore and Guam.
"CSC's mission-critical support to ONE-NET improves the operation and
effectiveness of critical enterprise networks for the Navy in the Far
East region," said Austin Yerks, president of CSC's North American
Public Sector Defense Group. "ONE-NET is an essential building block of
the future naval networking environment and we look forward to
supporting the Navy's plans to integrate afloat and ashore networks to
deliver unparalleled operational capabilities for the cyber warfighter."
