CSC Wins $200M Intelligence Agency Deal Under AXISS

June 10, 2009

A major intelligence community agency awarded CSC a delivery order to provide comprehensive end user services for its information technology transformation. The task order, which was competitively awarded under the AXISS acquisition contract, has a one-year base period and four one-year options, bringing the estimated total five-year contract value to $200 million. This contract was awarded to CSC during the company's fourth quarter fiscal 2009.

Under the terms of the agreement, CSC will provide end user services ranging from planning, deployment, and sustainment of hardware and software (directory, e-mail, collaboration, Web and messaging) to the development and migration of services to the next generation of multi-security platforms.

"End user services represent a critical component of the agency's information technology infrastructure transformation," said James W. Sheaffer, president of CSC's North American Public Sector line of business. "CSC's proven ability to minimize risk and meet demanding requirements will help support the agency's migration and complement our other contracts to support its transformation goals."

In addition to the end user services contract, CSC won two competitively awarded delivery orders under the AXISS acquisition contract during the second quarter of fiscal year 2009. Under the contracts, CSC will deliver application hosting support to an agency in the intelligence community and provide information technology services for the Office of Intelligence Community Enterprise Solutions.
