LSI Touts Video Processing Software for StarPro

LSI touted real-time, on-demand, multimedia transcoding software for the family of LSI StarPro multicore media processors that enables flexible, cost-effective solutions for any-to-any video communications and real-time collaboration through next-generation media gateways.

Incorporating advanced techniques to efficiently process many video formats, the new transcoding software provides multi-channel, state-of-the-art multimedia processing that will enable OEMs to meet the real-time, high-definition quality requirements for video collaboration services. It is scalable, field upgradeable and delivers very high performance while reducing costs.
